IBM Under the Surface

This award-winning digital activation was all about cutting through the noise. Cybersecurity professionals are dealing with a constant barrage of threats, and we wanted to show them that IBM Security gives them the attacker's perspective, helping them prioritize what matters most.

We created an immersive, interactive experience that put users directly inside a real client's attack surface. We used Ultra Leap motion technology so they could use gestures to literally "touch the tech"—grabbing, rotating, and zooming through data. This wasn't a sterile demo; it was a powerful, hands-on visualization of how IBM empowers them to take action before a hacker does.

We used real, anonymized data to make the experience authentic and relatable. By combining rich storytelling and sound with this intuitive, human-centered interaction, we didn't just tell them what IBM does—we let them feel its power. The goal was to show, not just say, how IBM helps them secure their attack surface and finally get ahead of the threats.

Most importantly, our activation was built for global rollout - originally debuting at the RSA security conference in San Francisco in 2023, then on to IBM Think 2023 later that year, and beyond!
